ad from the Geneva Gazette dated December 5, 1879

ICE! ICE! ICE!

For Hundreds of Customers

Having leased the White Springs Reservoir, and Capt. Lewis’ and Parlett’s White Springs ponds, I am prepared to gather ice enough to supply all my hundreds of customers with

THE PUREST WHITE
SPRINGS ICE IN
THE MARKET,

and at a lower rate than I have ever furnished Ice here for before, and lower than it has ever been bought for in Geneva; and intend to run two teams all summer so making early services to my customers

I INVITE ALL TO TAKE MY ICE

which will be furnished as agreed, the same as in all my 22 years heretofore in this business.

I Shall Have More and Better Ice

than anybody else, and enough to

Freeze all my Competitors.

In addition to this, I have joined with Abe Thornton in an agreement to offer Ice for all the

PRIVATE ICE HOUSES
IN GENEVA
CHEAPER

than anybody else dare offer.
