Missing Over Germany
Geneva – Staff Sgt. Richard T. Rynone, who lived on Mason Street, this city, until his family moved to Waverly, has been missing in action over Germany since May 8.
This War Department message came to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Rynone of North Chemung Street, Waverly. He was a bombardier on a B-17 based somewhere in England and the May 8 mission was believed to be his fourth. He had arrived in England on Apr. 8 after training for a year at San Antonio and Laredo, Tex., where he received his wings and at Sioux Falls, SD and Avon Park, Fla.
