An Evening at Houghton House

Every building tells a story. A residence, private school, and college dorm are just some of the ways Houghton House has been used over the years. Today it houses the Art and Architecture Department and two art galleries for Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
On September 20, join Historic Geneva for an evening at Houghton House. Explore the first and second floor. Listen to a talk by Historic Geneva Curator John Marks. View the HWS Department of Art and Architecture Facility Exhibition and a pop-up exhibit from Historic Geneva tracing the building’s history. The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Appetizers and dessert will be served. There will be a cash bar. Houghton House is located on King’s Lane off of South Main Street on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva. Tickets are $30 at the door. To purchase tickets call 315-789-5151.
