Astronomer and comet finder William Brooks lived and worked in Geneva from 1887 until his death in 1921.  16 of his 27 documented comets were found from his observatory on Castle Street in Geneva.  Join Historic Geneva Curator John Marks to learn about Brooks’ life and career. The program is free and open to the public.

Comet Finder: Dr. William R. Brooks is part of Community Read 2024: Geneva Reads Even in the Dark, in collaboration with Historic Geneva.
