Join Historic Geneva curator of collections John Marks for a walking tour in conjunction with the current Historic Geneva exhibit Eat, Drink and Be Merry: Food and Beverages in Geneva. John will take participants around one block of downtown Geneva and talk about the history of bars and restaurants in the area. Some of the buildings have had food and drink businesses for as long as anyone can remember, and others have just shifted to food in the 21st century. The tour will begin and end at the Seneca Street parking lot digital sign and will cover the block of Seneca-Exchange-Castle-Linden Streets. The tour will last no more than an hour. Food and drink are not included in the tour.

The tour takes place rain or shine. Reservations are recommended but not required. Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased in advance here through 5 p.m. on August 23. Payment can also be made at the beginning of the tour with exact change or a check. Call the Historic Geneva office at 315-789-5151 with questions or for more information.
