Sunday Concert Series at Rose Hill: Lock 52 Jazz Band
July 19, 2015, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
This summer the Geneva Historical Society is again hosting a free concert series on the lawn at Rose Hill Mansion. For three Sundays, the grounds of Rose Hill Mansion will be alive with music and fun. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy an evening of music to end a summer weekend in the Finger Lakes.
The second concert in the series will be Lock 52, who will perform on Sunday, July 19 at 5 p.m. Lock 52 will bring traditional style jazz to the mansion, playing a wide variety of tunes including blues, pop, folk, and western from about 1890-1970. The Golden Eagle String Band ends the series on Sunday, August 16 with a Civil War music concert. The concerts are free and open to the public.
On concert days, Rose Hill Mansion will close following the last regular tour at 3:30 p.m. There will be no house tours during the concerts. The Billsboro Winery tasting room on the property will be open during the concerts, as will the Carriage House Gift Shop.
Support for the Rose Hill Concert Series is provided in part by the Nelson B. Delavan Foundation.
