Remember the home dairy and were it was but forget the WTGrant store being there. At some theaters we went to dance the peppermint twist , at the peppermint lounge. Do you know what place that was? In the 196o,s.
The old Temple Theater on Exchange Street, north of Castle, became Teen A-Go-Go in the 1960s. That’s the only dance place I’m aware of, beside dances that were held at the Civic Center and elsewhere. I looked in a few 1960s city directories and didn’t see Peppermint Lounge.
