Exhibit Taxonomy: Temporary Exhibit

Since the 19th Century Genevans have traveled for a variety of reasons: pleasure, health, adventure, military service, and business.  I’ve Been Everywhere shares the travel experiences of community members. (August 2025 to January 10, 2026) 

Many creative Genevans have pursued art as a profession or hobby. While Arthur Dove is the most prominent of Geneva artists, there are many artists who have called the city home. The Historic Geneva collection has a selection of paintings, drawings and sculpture that have been produced by the city’s residents. This exhibit featured a selection of landscapes and portraits by Geneva artists or of Genevans. (June 2025 to April 2026)
