200th Anniversary Celebration of Lafayette’s Visit to Geneva, NY

The Friends of Lafayette will hold a reenactment of his 1825 visit to Geneva in Pulteney Park.
All are invited! This event is being held in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Major General Lafayette’s return to the United States of America in 1825.
Join us as we reenact General Lafayette’s historic visit to the “Public Square” now known as Pulteney Park, featuring the Ode composed by the daughter of Doctor Lummis, Col. Whiting’s keynote address, and Lafayette’s response in kind.
The Friends of Lafayette will be joined in the program by the following organizations:

French Alliance of Rochester
Geneva Masonic Lodge
Historic Geneva
