Annual Support

Whether its programs, exhibits, collections, or online content, we tell Geneva’s stories. Here are a few mission moments  –

  • After their tour of the Geneva History Museum a local Girl Scout troop were so inspired by the exhibit Gluing Together The Past: Historic Scrapbooks that they created their own scrapbook.
  • As part of her summer internship William Smith student Liz Natz researched and wrote a blog article about artist Norman Kent. As part of her capstone project, she later curated the exhibit Norman Kent: Carving A Path at Houghton House on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, which included prints from our collection.
  • While touring Rose Hill Mansion last fall an Eastman School of Music student noticed sheet music by Stephen Foster Ah! May the Red Rose Live Always. Though she recognized Foster she was not familiar with the song.  She asked permission to photograph the sheet music so she could use it in a recital.

Through the support of our Geneva community, far and wide, these and these and other mission moments are made possible.  To keep sharing Geneva’s stories – your stories – we rely on the support from community members.
