Annual Tour of Homes
The Geneva Historical Society’s 2014 Tour of Homes: What Is Home?, will be on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour features eleven buildings. Six of the structures are single-family homes, three are public buildings, one is a brand new bed and breakfast, and the last is Rose Hill Mansion. From a 4000-square-foot modern house to an Eastlake-style Victorian to a Colonial Revival, the tour features many examples of what makes a home.
Weather permitting, there will be a few classic cars on display at Rose Hill. Billsboro Tasting Room on the mansion grounds will offer tour ticket holders 15% off their wines. There will be refreshments at the Methodist Church, 340 Main Street, on the day of the tour. There will also be a 30-minute organ recital at the church at 4 p.m.
Tickets for the tour are $20 and are available at Pedulla’s Liquor Store, Stomping Grounds, the Geneva and Canandaigua Chambers of Commerce, Rose Hill Mansion, and the Geneva Historical Society. On the day of the tour, tickets will be available at the Geneva Historical Society and or at the door of any house on the tour. Each ticket holder will also be eligible to win a gift basket from Harry & David. Geneva Historical Society members can purchase discounted tickets only in advance of the tour at the Geneva Historical Society office. For a list of the houses on tour click here.
