Geneva in the 1920s: A Lecture
April 25, 2023, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The second program in the Historic Geneva Spring Lecture Series will be "Geneva in the 1920s" on Tuesday, April 25 at 7 p.m. The program will be presented by Historic Geneva Curator John Marks.
The 1920s were a decade of great change in the United States, which was reflected here in Geneva. John will share photos, newspaper articles, and media clips to paint a picture of life in Geneva during the 1920s.
This program will be presented in person at the Geneva History Museum. It will be simulcast virtually through Zoom if a minimum number of people sign up for the virtual option. To register for virtual participation, click here. For any problems with registration or to register by phone, call the Historic Geneva office at 315-789-5151. Registrations must be complete by 5 pm on April 23.
This program is being held in conjunction with Historic Geneva's current exhibit There’ll Be Some Changes Made: Geneva in the 1920s. The lecture series is supported in part by the Samuel B. Williams fund for programs in the Humanities and is free and open to the public. For more information about the program, call the Historic Geneva office at 315-789-5151.
