A view in Kobe, Japan by Genevan Harry King.

The final program in our 2025 Fall Program Series will be given by archivist Becky Chapin on November 12th at 7 p.m. Join her for "Genevans on the Move" in which she will explore the ways that the city's residents have traveled, bringing pieces of the world back with them. Come learn about a 19th-century trip to Mongolia, living through an earthquake in Japan, traveling across the country for work, serving in the Philippine-American War, and more!

The program is being held in conjunction with the exhibit, I've Been Everywhere: Traveling Genevans at the Geneva History Museum. Hear some of the many stories of Genevans going on adventures around the world that couldn't fit in the exhibit.

The fall program series is supported in part by the ESL Charitable Foundation and is open to the public. There is a suggested donation of $5 to support our programming. For more information about the lecture, call the Historic Geneva office at 315-789-5151 or visit historicgeneva.org.
