Opening Reception: Artwork from Historic Geneva's Collection at the Dove Block

Join us at the Dove Block for an opening reception of the exhibit Artwork from Historic Geneva's Collection. At Historic Geneva we tells Geneva’s stories, but not every story is told with words. Artists have captured local scenes and people since the 1790s. They have been self-taught or academically trained, paid or painting for enjoyment. This exhibit showcases a variety of artists and subjects. It includes two illustrations by Arthur Dove and paintings by Dove’s mentor Newton Weatherly.
Trevor J Donlon will provide the music for the opening reception. Trevor has been actively performing in the Finger Lakes Region since 2019. He continues to widen his range of musical genres, while playing at local establishments and private venues. He is pursuing a degree in Music Business, Production, and Recording at the Geneseo State University of New York. He is also the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of The Vivid Scene.
