Rose Hill After Hours: Taking Tea with Mrs. Swan

Join the Geneva Historical Society and Billsboro Winery for Rose Hill After Hours, a history Happy Hour on the final Wednesday of the month during June, July and August. At Rose Hill After Hours, we will open up the grounds and the first floor of Rose Hill Mansion to participants for an informal program on a different topic each month. On July 29, visitors will meet "Mrs. Swan" and join her in preparing a 19th-century tea cake in the Rose Hill kitchen. They will learn about cooking and life at Rose Hill in the mid 1800s. Although based on a long-standing school program, this experience is for adults 21 and over. Offered in partnership with Billsboro Winery, admission is $15 per person and includes one glass of Billsboro wine, unlimited lemonade, and light snacks. Wine will also be sold by the glass.
The After Hours program on August 26 will be Music in the 19th Century. Reservations are not required, but appreciated. For more information about these events, call the Geneva Historical Society at 315-789-5151.
