Sunday Concert Series at Rose Hill: Agonal Rhythm

This summer the Geneva Historical Society is hosting a free concert series on the lawn at Rose Hill Mansion. For three Sundays the grounds of Rose Hill will be alive with music and fun. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy an evening of music to end a summer weekend in the Finger Lakes.

Sunday, June 22 at 5 p.m. the series kicks off with the “Finger Lakes Funnest Party Band,” Agonal Rhythm. Comprised mostly of medical professionals, the band is a group of talented, fun loving people who perform classic rock and roll, disco, and rhythm and blues.

On Sunday, July 20, Cool Club will bring their blend of jazz, blues, boogie-woogie, ragtime and swing to the mansion grounds. Allen Hopkins rounds out the series on Sunday, August 24 with a performance of folk music, including American traditional, Celtic instrumental, blues, bluegrass and historical tunes. The concerts are free and open to the public.

On concert days, the last regular tour of Rose Hill Mansion will run at 3:30 p.m. and the house will close at 5 p.m. There will be no house tours during the concerts. The Billsboro Winery tasting room on the property will be open during the concerts, as will the Carriage House Gift Shop.

Support for the Rose Hill Concert Series is provided in part by the Nelson B. Delavan Foundation.
