Community Curator: Pat Keefe

A display of an antler head surrounded by projectile points in cases and books.Space in the front entryway of the Geneva History Museum is devoted to Community Curators.

Pat Keefe has an extensive collection of projectile points and early trade goods. He has graciously loaned us a number of items from his collection to display. The shaped stone points were used as the tips of arrows, spears, and darts prior to the development of metal tool making. The points on display include examples from New York, as well as Europe, Japan, and the Middle East.

We show you ours, now it’s time for you to show us yours. Became a Community Curator! If you have a collection and would like to display it at the Geneva History Museum, send an email to John Marks, Curator of Collections, at curator@historicgeneva.org.
