Tour of Homes, Part One

May 20th, 2016

Just as the definition of “home” varies from person to person, ways to that “home” differ as well. This year’s theme is All Roads Lead Home.  The homes and properties shown today are each unique but they all share one thing in common –  each have paths that lead someone home.

On Saturday, June 11 from 10 am to 4 pm the following homes and properties will be on view:

  • The Gearan Center for the Performing Arts, 300 Pulteney Street: Opened in January of this year, this 65,000-square-foot facility brings together the music, dance, theater, and media and society departments in a unified academic space at the heart of the Hobart and William Smith campus. Consistent in design with existing campus architecture, the brick and stone building exceeds LEED Silver Certification.

Will there be tours soon? 2023 or 2024?

    1. Anne Dealy says:

We don’t anticipate returning to the tour of homes format we did in the past. We will be doing a special program at Houghton House on the Hobart and William Smith campus in September 2023 that will be similar to the one we ran last year at the Cracker Factory. Watch our calendar for details on that program.
