Travel with the Geneva Historical Society in 2019
Join the Geneva Historical Society and First Choice Travel for three unique excursions in 2019 –a three day bus trip to Newport, Rhode Island (October 10-12), a day trip to Letchworth State Park (October 15), and a Western Caribbean Cruise (December 30 to January 6).
Activities for the Newport trip include tours of four Glided Age mansions , a visit to Mystic Seaport Museum, and a ride aboard the Newport Dinner Train. The cost for the trip is $579 per person double occupancy.
A $100 deposit is due on May 21 and payment in full based on hotel occupancy is due on August 20. Make checks payable to: 1st Choice Educational Tours. The three-day trip includes motor coach transportation, tour manager, two nights’ accommodations, two breakfasts, one dinner and all admissions. On October 10 the bus will depart Geneva from the Staples Plaza on Routes 5 & 20 at 7:00 a.m. and will turn to Geneva around 10:00 p.m. on October 12.
The day trip to Letchworth State Park on October 15 will begin with a tour of the Wadsworth Mansion followed by a visit to the Mount Morris Dam. After lunch at the Glen Iris Inn there will be a visit to the Castile Cider Mill and a stop for ice cream at the Charcoal Corral Grill. The cost is $129 per person and includes motor coach transportation, tour manager, lunch, all admissions, a small bag of apples, an ice cream cone, and driver’s gratuity.
A $50 deposit due on May 21 and payment in full is due by August 23. Make checks payable to: 1st Choice Educational Tours. On October 15 the bus will depart from the Staples Plaza on Routes 5 & 20 at 8 a.m. and will return to Geneva around 7 p.m.

Due to the travel ban, the cruise has been canceled. Imagine ringing the New Year abroad a luxury liner as you cruise around the Western Caribbean. The seven-night cruise abroad the MSC’s Armonia is from December 30 2019 to January 6, 2020. Leaving from Miami, Florida ports of call are Ocean Cay, Bahamas; Montego Bay Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; and two days in Havana, Cuba. Shore excursions will be available for purchase for each port of call. A valid passport is required for travel.
