From Beyond: South Main Street Stories

471 South Main StreetEncounter the spirits of Geneva’s past in a theatrical program to be held Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. along Geneva’s South Main Street. From Beyond: South Main Street Stories, will feature community actors portraying citizens from Geneva’s past. As visitors walk between Pulteney Park and Trinity Church, they will encounter performers portraying local residents and hear stories about the city.

The program begins at The Presbyterian Church at 24 Park Place. Pulteney apts on the parkFrom the church, participants will be led on a walking tour of South Main Street to hear the tales of the neighborhood. Tours will leave the church every 30 minutes and the performance will run about 35 minutes. The first tour is 6:30 p.m. and the last tour is 8:30 pm. Those attending are encouraged to dress for the weather as the event goes on rain or shine. Reservations are strongly encouraged for all tours as space is limited. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, grade school through college level. Refreshments will be available in the Fellowship Hall at the Church.
