Music in the Key of Geneva Podcasts

September 9th, 2016

As part of the Music in the Key Geneva project we will periodically release podcasts.  The first podcast provides an overview of the project and the second is about the Tuesday Piano Quartette.  Enjoy!

Podcasts for Music in the Key of Geneva are supported by a grant from the New York Council for the Humanities.  Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in the podcasts do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Would like to see and/or hear more about the Appleknockers Drum and Bugle Corps and the role they played in the Geneva music scene.
The corps started in 1929 and between the senior corps, junior corps and cadet corps, they represented Geneva nationally until 1974 or 75…
They played a large part in spreading the Geneva name and always had a great reputation and represented Geneva with pride.

They should be featured in the Music in the Key of Geneva project.
    Thank you…

Both an AK podcast and video are in the works for this website, and the exhibit panels that are around Geneva talk about influential people like Godfrey Brown and Jack Bullock.

      Thanks!
